Probably the most popular example right now is present in Billie Eilish's "Happier Than Ever," The first track I ever heard from Eilish was Lost Cause . It's off the same record as the aforementioned title track Happier Than Ever , and I remember specifically being infatuated with the cli...

Nächtlich tape "Satanas Solum Initium Est" which felt like a big jump forward with more interesting melodies This record goes hard as hell. I don't know if the other member stepped up into a more prominent role with this one or what, but everything just aligned perfectly on this release. ...

today's viewing - "Oscar Micheaux:The Superhero Of Black Filmmaking" (2021), "Funeral Parade Of Roses" (1969), and "Double Indemnity" (1944). Funeral Parade Of Roses is slept on. Fantastic disorienting visuals. What did you think of it? Double Indemnity is a classic, s...
Fuck, what a fantastic title for a Jazz record. The crazy thing is, that title perfectly describes the feeling of this album! Do you collect Jazz records or usually just stick to listening online? I couldn't help but do a double take on some of the prices his records are fetching on the ol' Discogs...
I've been trying to get into more Sun Ra lately, but the discography is just so vast, I kind of don't know where to start. He's the Pain Jerk of the Jazz world I find. My go-to has always been 1979's Sleeping Beauty , but I am also known to throw on stuff like Atlantis when I am in a weird and fran...
Try ‘Lanquidity’ for that. Slick, mellow and gorgeous. Thanks! Listening now. There is so much going on in the background, even just in the first track. I don't know if I would be able to concentrate on my reading, hah. Maybe I am just not good at multitasking after all! I was just looking into his...
That's such a great and comforting thought, no matter what fucked up shit life throws at you, there are probably some Sun Ra albums you've yet to hear. I would like to hear of any favourites you have and would recommend. There's so much out there that checking out the ones friends and acquaintances...
It's not often you hear covers in noise, so to see Straight Panic cover Brethren got me exited a few years back. https://straightpanic.bandcamp.com/track/hail-aids I'm gay, but admittedly, more often than not, I have a hard time concentrating on artists whose messages, aesthetics, and ideas revolve ...
Yeah... I still don't see what that has to do with Hospital, or or any label for that matter? A seller has an item to send through the mail to the buyer, and the buyer pays for shipping. Isn't this the standard? What is the difference whether or not it costs an arm and a leg if the label isn't the o...
I mean... fair enough, but I really and truly don't think anyone here would be shocked if we were to definitively learn that Hospital is doing more than fine when it comes to funding for new releases. Also, since when does a label themselves eat the price of shipping a product out to their customers...
To me, noise belongs on tape, but I couldn't say why. Same with dungeon synth. Wax for everything else like black metal, death metal, jazz, soul, hardcore, rap, etc. If an artist or band I love only releases their shit on CD, I will simply wait to get a hold of a FLAC file and add it to my server fo...
Interesting take, and very well put Human. I don't have a lot to say about the matter as I find much more pleasure in simply laying in the cut and watching from afar... but it really does put a whole damper in both the phrase and ideology of "supporting the underground".
