For C93, Of Ruine is easily my favorite. Swastikas for Noddy is a close second, though.

Re: Books

Currently reading The Complete Eightball which I am absolutely loving I love Daniel Clowes and I’ve always wanted to pick that up. I had most of the single issues at one point but never all of them. I’d definitely recommend it if you haven’t grabbed it yet. It’s done really well. I’d read plenty of...

Re: Cut Up

Cut up is definitely my preferred style of HN to listen to nowadays. Most of the best artists that I know of doing this style have already been listed, so I'll just add that Human Fluid Rot puts on one of the best live performances I've seen. Highly recommended if you get the chance to catch him

I spend too much time devoted to work now, but still try to see friends every couple weeks. I have meaningful conversations with friends I’ve made through noise almost every day though

Re: Weird Tales / Sword & Sorcery

I recently re-read the Corum series. I've always loved Moorcock's Eternal Champion series', but I feel like this one gets overshadowed by Elric and Hawkmoon, and I've never understood why. They're concise, accessible, and have some really interesting concepts that can get lost in other S&S novels

Yeah, it's really obvious how much their put their hearts into their work. Pure noise for noise's sake!! I'm grateful we got to see them on our last trip to Japan, and really hope to see them again

Huge fan of jazz, especially Art Blakey and Sonny Rollins. Lately I’ve been playing Christian Scott Atunde Adjuah’s Axiom a lot. Really killer stuff

Re: Video games/Interactive art?

I just always fall back on Skyrim and it’s impossible to put it down. I just downloaded ESIV Oblivion, so I’ll probably start playing that some more now since I haven’t since high school. I’m definitely not as into video games as I used to be, but I really love metroidvania types

I love anything Hellboy and BPRD related. Hell on Earth was one of the best series’ I’ve ever read, and the new Sword of Hyperborea follows up on it. The first issue was strong

Re: Film Discussion / Now Watching

Most recent (re)watch was Paul Schrader's The Card Counter , which might be his best film of this century (or at least on par with First Reformed ). I really want to watch The Card Counter. I love all of his that I’ve seen, and First Reformed is one of my favorites of any film from the last decade

I haven’t seen Titane yet, but it’s at the top of my “to watch” list!
I’ve been on a huge fantasy kick lately and just watched The Spine of Night. I don’t like too many animated films but it was definitely entertaining and had a great atmosphere

I'm Tony, from Conditioned and Reaper. I currently live in San Diego, but I really got into noise while I was living in Chicago a while back. I haven't been too active the last year or so but I'm working on some new stuff. Excited to see what everyone here has been doing
