Re: How do you organize your collections?/When do you sell off records?

Very roughly, by genre. I am incapable of getting rid of shit, even shit of which there are multiple copies. Even shit like Pavarotti Christmas discs n shit. I mean, you never know when shit'll come in handy...

I like some shit.

Re: Now Playing

Kazumoto Endo and Kaori Komura - Volume Two Not sure why, but I think I like this even more than the first volume. Two live tracks, clocking in at just under a half hour a piece, very nicely recorded, the second in particular going pretty hard at interval with the trad Komura percussion which, as el...

Re: Off-Shoots of Macronympha

So I've listened to both versions of Human Skin Lanterns back to back and can confirm they are completely different releases. I don't think any of the tracks repeat from one to the other whatsoever, and there are only a few moments here and there that use some of the same samples or source material...

Organ of Corti got stuck into the earhole for the full of today's commute, wouldn't let go. Loving the project name, the artwork, the exposition, unravelling unhurried over uneven terrain. Like, I feel perfectly at ease, cortisian cocoons anchoring outermost edges in brume-like organi'c embrace. And...

elsewhere spewed: Tangential to some of the idea(l)s on which Stewart Skinner opined in the last WCN episode, I grabbed the new digital-only reissue of Knurl ’s Tetramatrix tape (1994). Tetramatrix was for me at the time a perfect, and perfectly nasty, piece of harsh blistering scorchery. The pure ...

Re: Struggles Of Making Noise/ Hosting DIY Noise Shows

I just run everything through headphones and record with a line directly out of my amp. It makes piercing feedback and metal work largely impossible, but I have found that I personally do better with field recording/sound assemblages anyway Ha, and apologies for the smart remark, but anyone ever do...

Given what happened with their spokesperson, this is scarily appropriate. no the joke is he is yelling cause he wanted a $5 footlong or whatever and now he is going to have to go to sbarro Or when he realizes that $5 foot longs are no longer a thing there! Think it's pretty obvious where the $5 foo...

A noise hook for me is Peony Crackers 2 by Incapacitants on Project Pallo 85. Its basically the same sound over and over again on top of some echo filter stuff for over a half an hour and I just cant get enough of it. Hot damn, just went with this. And went with it.
