I plan on self releasing a couple of things this year and while I grasp the concepts of duplication shipping selling physicals etc. i have absolutely no idea how to properly lay out a j card.

Let’s talk about self releasing, starting and maintaining a label, the financial and etiquette concerns associated with doing these things and so on.

Just quote me for all the 404 or elektron related questions I can talk about that stuff all day. Also, I’ll add that I also think the DOD carcosa is a hugely undervalued pedal. That thing absolutely rips.

I shouldn’t say I do none of those. I actually do all of them but what I mean by that is I’m rarely bothered enough by a click or a skip to change it. I think some of the best loop based heavy electronics recordings leave that stuff in so why wouldn’t I unless it was extremely egregious.

Coming back to the SP-404, does anyone else have problems with it clicking when playing loops? If so do you have any tips on how to get around it? Loops clicking means you’re cutting off the waveform at too high or too low a peak so like if the waveform looks like this: /\/\/\ you’re cutting it off...

Very similar situation for me too. Misery Engine releases are pretty diverse sounding but very much PE centralized. My other project (Peace Doctrine) is cut up harsh noise and I just don’t think it makes sense to put those two things together under the same name.
