Welcome, young buck! As it happens I actually stumbled upon the Ankou during a wiki surf the other day.

Mimi, from Richmond Virginia (USA). Until recently was in Durham, North Carolina. I have a project called Permanent, which is at different times industrial noise, techno, synth pop, or rhythmic noise. I had post-punk project (Pink Section / Lizzy Mercier Descloux-worship) project called Cochonne. I'm a former academic and it shows. I love to learn about music and to make mid-rate shitty memes. I have a cat named Francis who refuses to drink anything but Evian (its my fault). I came on here to post about this Die Puppe album that I like.

Oh I'm a former academic too, for the time being anyway. I might go for a PHD but I just need to have a normal life for a bit first.

No, get the PhD. Embrace the weird.
(Maybe not the constant self-hate, though...)

Greetings,

Please allow me to introduce myself, I am C l oa k of Furhiją from the Mixedwood Plains. Furhiją is my improvised Harsh Noise project that is heavily inspired by my time in nature. To keep my introduction brief, I curate my physical material in the traditional DIY style. Furhiją is also a copyright free project that anyone can distribute, reproduce, sample, mix, or sell without my permission. I plan on making a thread soon with further information detailing Furhiją but in the meantime please enjoy my mini bio. For those seeking new frequencies you can indulge in my newest noise voyage "Glacier Veins" on my Bandcamp: furhija.bandcamp.com Looking forward to ingesting more noise and written material that this forum offers. Thank you for your time today.

For the love of only natvre,

C l oa k.

It seems that your bandcamp link does not work? Your project sounds very interesting, and I would like to hear it!

Apologies for the broken link. I have edited my original post. A working link is also included in my signature.

Thanks, excited to be here and hopefully make more friends into noise. the Ankou is super cool, as is all old folklore, the whole esoteric/supernatural realm is a big inspiration for a lot of my stuff and an old fascination of mine.
