That IOSS on Korm is a nifty find.

And it came on very reasonable price. For the Small Cruel Party i was going for, then saw this in the list too, for 15EUR i couldnt let it sit there. And if this wasnt already good enough, this copy is a C90 tape, IOSS on A and B-Side contains Asmus Tietchens - Linea. Havent listened yet but that's what the notes on a generic j-card that is also included write.

AH, even better!! That's something you used to see quite a bit in the pre-Internet days -- artists putting two programs on each side of a longer (usually C60 or C90) length tape. Albeit, I most usually saw this on self-released cassettes from the likes of Ken Clinger, Zan Hoffman, and Nick.. It's a little more surprising to see a label put this into practice, but if I dug hard enough I am sure I would be able to find examples...

I haven't listened to them yet. My day started VERY late and after getting a couple errands done, I'm exhausted.

Just listened to Coronado the other day and loved it. The more consise tracks fit the material well, and to my ears there seems to be some sort of "arc" underlying the whole thing if maybe a pretty obtuse one. Possibly (probably) that is a complete projection on my part. Its got lots of blown out drums throughout which is one of the aspects that drew me to Sissy Spacek in the first place. It reminded me in some ways of the Wiese/Dilloway collaboration that came out a few years ago, "Sniper Counter Sniper" with similar pacing and John Wiese's incomprehensible editing. Planning on bringing it along for a long drive ahead of me tomorrow for a more in depth listen.

2024 is already off to a strong start with packages arriving from Detachment Programs and Satatuhatta.
Also placed an order for the Skin Crime reissue on New Forces, which I am pretty excited for.
