Hiljaisuuden aika on ohi. Syyskuun viimeisenä lauantaina, 30.9 Turun Pyöräpajalla kuuluu ihanan kammottavia ääniä.

Tapahtuma on yksityistilaisuus, sinut on kutsuttu. Bändeille kerätään kolehti bensakuluja varten. Ole ihmisiks tai älä tuu tänne.

Ovet aukeaa klo 19:00.

AHOLA & SILANDER

HIPPYCRACK

Tilan takaosassa on yksi pienehkö kynnyksellinen WC.

Nähdään Pajalla!

The time of silence is over. On 30th of september the Bike Kitchen will be filled with beautiful horrible sounds.

This is an private event, you are invited. 10€ contribution for bands' gas expenses and such. If you're an asshole, stay home.

We follow safer space principles at all our events. You can refresh your memory by reading them at the door before buying ticket. If you find yourself unable to comply with the basic human decency that safer space principles require, please do not come to the show and maybe re-evaluate at home what sort of a person you really want to be.

Unfortunately Bike Kitchen is not an accessible space for all; Bike Kitchen yard is in bad shape and full of holes and bumps that may cause difficulty for example wheelchair users. There are also raised doorsteps at the entrance and the toilet (which is also quite small and not wheelchair frendly).

It was great. Ahola & Silander and Fricsvel were the reasons I drove about 2 hours to the show and they both delivered. The other three artists were a nice addition if nothing truly grasping, varying from semi-Masonna-esque screaming of Atte Häkkinen to more typical harsh noise of Hippycrack to the minimal performance setup of Zherbin (he had one effects unit and a cardboard box with a contact mic inside plus a walkman, I think).
This was the second time I saw Ahola & Silander live and it was nothing like the junk metal orgy in Oulu last year. I think there was just one piece of sheet metal being scraped this time. Plus a shaker box and loads of electronics and feedback loops. Physically very active/intense and the sounds were very varied as well. Absolutely no boring or weak moments.
Fricsvel is the duo of Mogao and Resting Place. I was outside during the soundcheck and could hear the sharp junk metal sounds of random garbage tossed around in a steel bucket. When the show started the venue was dark with four small candles next to their table full of gear. And there were zero sharp junk metal sounds. The buckets full of steel wire and whatnot were there and were used but effected beyond recognition. It was all almost transcendental harsh noise, sounding huge and loud, just a mass of sound. Perfection!
