US harsh noise project Black Leather Jesus is currently on a tour of Europe. Members of the outfit mailed two large boxes of gear and merchandise ahead of time to Paris to minimize the amount of baggage they were flying to Paris with. Unfortunately when the boxes arrived, it was immediately obvious that one was replaced with a smaller box and resealed, etc. All of the electronic gear, 75 tour only tapes and 40 vinyl records total were stolen. It was a devastating development for the members of Black Leather Jesus and with most diy harsh noise tours, most of the funds to make the tour smooth is merch sales. Not to mention, the gear has to be quickly replaced for the live shows. Any donation to this gofundme would be appreciated to put toward the rest of the tour to make it go to plan without issue. Judging from the posts on IG they were able to get gear together for the show, Its sucks that the gear and those tapes are lost. It will be an interesting search online to see if some shitass is trying to sell the shirts or tapes.
