this debut! Really fucking good, best from the tape
But he was always more concerned with making his guitar sound like a dying horse, more than anything else.

Oh hell yeah, this is exactly what I wanted to hear today. Is this available to get somewhere?

I have not listened to my copy yet, but the new Current 93 box, "The Long Shadow Falls," looks beautiful.

this was just small edition on recycled tapes, but the artist said that there might me more coming "due to demand"

This one was released rather quietly a couple of weeks ago. It's not on a label and Black Psychosis appears to be the primary distributor, so I'm guessing Hutchinson put it out himself, and man—he's a perfect collaborator for Stella. I've skimmed through enough of Hal's junk noise material over the years to confidently say that he's very fucking good at what he does. His nasty junk sounds are spot on and his bonehead PE project also boasts a good sense of arrangement, even if it's not really my thing. It's unnecessary to say much about Stella's own strong suits here, but wow—these two distinct approaches sure mesh beautifully. The feel here is far more vibrant and stoney than it is harsh, but even within its restraint, it's never boring. Highly recommended for noiseheads who also like bongs.

Anyways, I can't recommend this one enough. It's right in the sweet spot for me.
Might have to pick this one up, this is class
Now I have a copy and I can concur that it's really good. I don't know if I can relate to the noiton of bong rips (I don't smoke, but the rare times I do get high, Puce Mary is my go-to, so I dunno), but it's definitely heavily narcotic. I read somehwere that it might have been assembled under the influence of heavy, heavy medication, which makes perfect sense. The sounds of this tape is kind of what I imagine hell sounds like. No, not what you'd usually think when someone says it sounds like that. This isn't some kind of terrifying asssault on your senses kind. Like, what the scorching magma-filled landscape sounds like as it rumbles and breathes. An impending sense of a damned eternity. Definitely pick this one up if you get the chance.

Can also report that the new Commando 15 CD rips. A LOT harsher than his previous two tapes but somehow in the exact same vein. Minimal but maximal at the same time. Definitely my favorite current project right now.

Thoughts on the new Dada Drumming discs? The Kakerlak is a textural feast but structurally it doesn't quite come together for me. At the Controls is my favorite thing Endo has put out since Brick and Mortar.

The IESKADULLA debut tape is something out check for sure. Very good stuff, a promising start for the project.

Having now listened to several of the discs in this set, I can say that it is very strange and interesting. Each track in the set is ostensibly the same one, though the loops and drones that are used change every time. This seems like a box meant for long-term meditations.

Hahah :D thank you very much mate. I really appreciate it.

I myself I'm afraid I don't have much to contribute to this thread. I'm not especially collector minded and my budget for buying records tends to be pretty limited. Looking up some of the things I've been listening to lately, I find they've already been out for two, three years or more.

Excellent droning wall from Matt. FFO the Diminishing Spirit tape on Dead Gods back in 2018.

Pacing Animal s/t C30 (self-released)
New Hudson Valley project. Bloated, slow-paced harsh.

Wasauksing Sniper, Western Front CS (self-released)
More of the lethargic but immersive heavy electronics that made the AE tape so memorable.

Death Kneel, Burning Grip C14 (Life of Sensation)
All of Max's in-house LoS tapes have been great but this is my favorite so far. Apparently all the source material is percussion? Volatile glitch surgery.

Brand new Spacek thing is great, lots of the same tracks from Disfathom recorded in a different session with harsh interludes. New Casa di Caccia splits are on their way to me (b/w Wolf Creek and Ex-Jesus). Also excited for the upcoming Pube Provisional batch: Gemengung, Jute / Met Glas split, and another one I can't remember.
Thanks for the mention!

The new Kakerlack on Dada Drumming is outstanding.
