Funny you mention it I just heard about a noise discord server in a WCN interview with CYESS AFXZS, though I've never used discord. is that a gaming platform or a streaming site where people show their naughty bits?

I'm Jake and I live in Dayton, OH. Got into noise a few years ago after checking out the Skeleton Dust store and haven't looked back. I have a project called QVIET that's just getting started, and I'm really interested in the intersection of ambient and noise.

Luke indeed rules! Thanks for checking it out, the grind kid in me is all too giddy to throw in messed up samples lol. Checking out your stuff too, "10,000 Leagues..." feels so measured but free at the same time, and then the pulses on "The End", great stuff! Right in my wheelhouse with the ambient x noise

Btw I use paulstretch a lot for drones and dark ambient material. Finding a good field recording or wav file is about 1/3 to 1/2 of the work, but it's still practically a cheat code...

I can second this advice---bird calls work great with Paulstretch especially---and I have used it quite a bit in my own recordings. Don't neglect a simple playback speed change, however!

I've been doing noise for about 5 years and I've been active in Vancouver BC and Calgary Alberta for most of the time.

I've been experimenting with different sound studies, but I primarily do compositional inspired harsh noise and power electronics.

I'm actively open to collaboration and splits.

I am also seeking accessibility to vinyl pressing, as I have an unreleased record I feel is deserving of a vinyl record release.
