Six tracks of death industrial and heavy electronics. Besides the 2005 collaboration with Linekraft under the Mothra moniker I have not encountered this artists work before. This album is a bleak voyage, a prime example of the strength of this genre to convey a strong sonic narrative. Without parading details or jumping to conclusions every track keeps its focus. The saturated electronic sound is visceral and tangible. Short melodic parts and unexpected bass guitar slabs on track 4 add to the traditional industrial noisescape. Production is crisp without being overdone as some other contemporary albums end up to be. Outstanding track is ‘They treat humans like Livestock’. Post 2000s Tesco sound, throbbing synth and vocals/samples mauled-by-flanger.
Standard jewel-case and 4panel insert with gray scale artwork. Pseudo OBI-strip in English language. It looks good and gets the job done. I highly recommend you pick this one up!
