Finally, a space where spun noise wooks can talk about that sweet sweet stuff that gets our bodies moving and our third eye opening: jam band music
I've been on a real String Cheese Incident kick lately.

Recently ordered the official "On The Road" release from their '05 Japan run, looking forward to hearing that!!
Caught a massive "Arcadia" at my first Goose show last summer, that's become a playlist staple: https://goosetheband.bandcamp.com/track/arcadia-39

some real goof troop circus music came on at a bar the other week, had to be phish, asked the bartender if this was the song where they jumped on the trampolines and two different people in overalls came over to explain that they jump on trampolines during a few different songs

I'll get behind this gig.
Not into the Allman Brothers at all, but this Dickey Betts track is a winner:

Oh yeah, this is the show that really made me take the Dead seriously. It's a wild one.
The Pacific Northwest '73-'74 set has been getting a fair bit of play at my place recently. But I've also been digging back into some of the '89 recordings. What can I say, I'm a Brent fan.

I really liked The Dead when I was a wee lad but I guarantee you it was the “wrong” Dead - that one with Ripple, Workingmans Dead?, the one with the turtles dancing around…. I really have meant to re-dive in.
I really love current bands like Expo 70 and Earthless, plus heavy 70’s hitters like Ash Ra Tempel, Amon Duul II, Cluster, Agitation Free, Soft Machine…. the free-er the better! I played in bands like this for a big part of my 20’s and 30’s and it’s hugely fun. Would love to find a few people to jam out with again someday…..
