We are both interested in projects at the grassroots level of the underground scene and more established artists. Therefore, we have made deals with artists on different kinds of levels this coming year.

We are not enslaved to definitions like power electronics or harsh noise. Instead, we work internationally to bring industrial culture to life in general. All this is done in our spare time because this is an issue close to our hearts.

For your notice, we live after a small set of rules, have an "old school"-mindset and don't like rip-off behaviour. Nobody likes unpleasant surprises, do they?

In the pipeline:
during this autumn/winter, there will be three different releases with different artists from the industrial underground. This project will start with Young Hustlers - Return of Investment (c30). We await the Y.H. - HITO (cassette) shipment from the factory.

We will focus on cassettes until the L.P. 2023 is released withYoung Hustlers called The Dialectics of a Counter-culture. This material will be released in 300 copies from a vinyl factory with a pressing time of around 11 weeks and planned to: Q3 of 2023. And the small profit we make till only goes to further releases for other artists than ourselves, to make the underground scene of cassette culture more alive. A cassette take 2 to 3 weeks to produce a hundreds of cassettes for us; so we are not one of those "labels" you will need to wait the rest of your lifetime for one release.

Skuggsidan have a 60 m2 store in a factory facility nowadays, so if you want to meet up in public, send us an e-mail, and we will arrange a meeting. The site is 40 minutes by travelling by train from the head capital of Sweden, and you can get instructions either thru e-mail or text message.

Are you out travelling and need somewhere to stay or want to arrange a gig in Sweden? You can also contact us by regular e-mail on this kind of matter.

About trades of wares: Unfortunately, we also need to make a small profit and cannot only make trades of other distributors' products all the time. But when we have the possibility, we will do so if it is relevant to us.

The golden rule: treat others as you self want to be treated. Because the world is globalized nowadays and small, we also have no problem-solving chases face to face. If it is necessary to make meetings to sign a contract in real life, meeting up wherever you take no less than a day.

We don't work for egoistical purposes- instead, the opposite. We are not doing this to interact with profanity or subcultural gossip. Everyone says they want the scene to evolve, so we focus on neutral and informal business rather than anything else.

We also have no desire to assert ourselves. We've been around long enough to know how everything works. All business we do is based on an objective approach and not based on favouritism. Thus, we do everything in turn.

Our company is specialized in analog equipment in general, second hand-records and also, of course, cassettes in all different forms. Even books about the 'occult'/underground cultural/obscurities/old magazines/photographs might be enjoyable to purchase for reasonable prices. We try by all possible means to stay away from novelties,

Live recording cassette tape September 18, 2022 in Nagoya and October 29, 2022 in Tokyo.
Recorded  live analog recording with the strongest lineup of Sony Cassette Denske TC-D5M and Sony Super Metal Master. The recording was perfectly duplicated on a Nakamichi ZX-7.
performance in Nagoya in September, in Tokyo in October, which was recorded in a different arrangement.
The artwork features a photo of S21 Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Cambodia taken 13 years ago.

The design is completed by overlapping three layers: a photo of S21 on the outside of the cassette case, a live photo on the tracing paper, and the LINEKRAFT symbol on the Japanese paper jacket. The design is completed by overlapping the three layers.

JIM HAYNES "Turbulence" LP [mitteilung 40]

Turbulence is a prequel of sorts, with two twenty minute studies in smoldering noise and concretized electricity, as evinced through shortwave radio, corroded metal-on-metal, and glass being vibrating just shy of the point for shattering.

Thick, fluttering, heated rays of sound building a slow tension of rhythmic, oppressive structures. Piercing, crackling tones increase and decrease, layered with icy cold precision. Muffled segments of basspressure enters and are abruptly cut short, leaving just enough room to breathe inside the mechanical stasis.

Edition of 250 copies in printed color sleeves with hand-drilled holes of varying amounts, size and placing.

OCHU "Lähmung Des Wartens" 12" [mitteilung 26]

Continuing the themes surrounding "Unproduktiw", this time set in a maritime context. A tedious reality of qualm and levitation, lodged in the borderlands between the infinite and the conclusion. A partly accidental sound diary with ties to deep water, daydreaming and the futile attempts to create contentment with life under the omen of declining years. The clutching at straws and the stillness that enters when there is no remedy.

Though occationally chaotic, this new EP is rather restrained throughout, less layered and treading a line between peculiar exploration and restful boredom. Sifting through the debris of the beach, the tactile screech of derelict bunkers and incessant waves that makes the hull creak. The distance to the abyss.
