Absolutely nothing original but very well done PV in the Crossed Out style from 2013 - was sorting through my tapes today and kind of forgot about them.

If we haven’t talked about Vile Intent I’m about to throw the LP on after this. Fuck that band was so good.
Martin from Vile Intent was in New Flesh. Jordan went on to do Profane Order (with me, 'til I left), and Spectral Wound. Chris was in Polina (also with Jordan), and was 1/2 of experimental duo NYON before moving back to Newfoundland and opening a very successful bar/resto.

Cool shit - I had no idea. I actually don’t even remember where I got these tapes and 7” from but they’re cool as heck. I love that sound.

Breathing Problem put up the Elephant Man Behind The Sun collection on Bandcamp for free. I'm not super into gorenoise, but this is definitely on the more interesting side.

Lately, I've been returning to some power violence classics like Siege's Drop Dead, No Comment's Downsided, and Infest's Slave. Unbelievable records.

An incredible record. The story behind it is really something as well. I interviewed BPP specifically about this record (and their other gorenoise releases) for the last issue of Untitled Zine if you’re interested.

Got a few of those new BPP titles headed my way (thank you Taylor!!) - Maggot Vomit Afterbirth I’m really stoked on and the Plasma LP reissue is a nice surprise. Also picked up the Vomitoma and Biocyst collections as well. The Biocyst tracks I’ve heard are just revolting.

Of course while waiting I busted out a few classics from Haemorrhage, LDOH and Dead Infection…. I love this stuff but my listening is sporadic and I always wind up missing out on some hot new gurgle band….

There are a few outstanding examples in the form of Warsore, Dahmer(listen to the 10" or the song Just another dis-clone song) and Seven minutes of nausea. I had an extensive collection of 7" before, but I sold them all to finance my label. But this was one of my guilty pleasures when I was a teenager.

I’ve seen FoH 6-7 times in the last 8 years and they are always great. Them and Blood Incantation are worthy of the hype they get (IMHO). I also think Gatecreeper as sick as fuck too and deserve all the attention they’re getting. I love me some sick riffs…

Hope to see FoH live someday. They were coming to neighbour country on their spring/eurotour. Then they cancelled the tour besides roadburn.

Saw a poster from their minitour in Finland. They played in Tampere (like 160km/100miles) with Death Toll 80K, Fuck-Ushima and Radien. Would have been even on my birthday.

Apparently they played the next day in my hometown...What the fuck was I doing back then...

Picked up the Hallucination Realized/Redundant Protoplasm LP today. Great. Both bands are killer.

Put this out just recently for those of you who who dig Jet Jaguar KR-3 Kill Spree, Gigantic Brain, Alien Crucifixion (horribly underrated imo). Three piece cybergrind project. Tons of samples and synth/noise woven in.

Good interview with Max Ward from a couple weeks back, talking a lot about Napalm Death, Heresy, Lärm, Hatred Surge, etc.

Finally picked up the new Sulfuric Cautery LP and it rips hard. Slightly older but the Death Toll 80K "The Future Is Yours" one sided LP fucking slays too. DT80K are definitely keeping it fuckin' real as the kids say.

I’m way out of the loop with grindcore/PV kinda stuff but have been returning to them in my record collection more often recently.
To add to the Agathocles discussion I definitely visit their LPs more than the split 7”s, Superiority Overdose being a favorite as well as the already mentioned Razor Sharp Daggers. Mincer is a good one too. I also probably listen to Archagathus as much, or more than AGx.
I don’t know if it’s just because I’m from California but all my favorite stuff seems to come from there, In Disgust, Capitalist Casualties, Excruciating Terror, Stapled Shut, Goner, Despise You.
I remember when I was heavily into this stuff Portland had a pretty nice scene, and of course TX (definitely listen to a lot of PLF now), and the Midwest.

Oh yeah, one of the first shows I went to since they started happening again had Primitive Man, Sissy Spacek and Jarhead Fertilizer, who I’d never heard before, but I think that show really hit the spot and made me really wanna get back into this kinda stuff.

This band is almost too good for their own good. It makes total sense that they're from Japan -- like every commentator ever has pointed out, total early Carcass worpship, but they clearly understand the source material they're working with so well, that they're able to give it their own twist and dare I say even improve upon it.

Great show and I enjoy the shit out of Extortion, watched the whole video, but definitely not grindcore. Would love to see them live someday.

Hope they put out another LP. Seething was a great return and those first couple 7 inches and LPs are so good. Love the way they structure their riffs.
