Business as usual…
Amid the stress and uncertainty of the current “trade war” between Canada and the US, normal operations still continue here at S&W and for everyone else operating at this level. Section 321 is still in effect, meaning that packages valued under the de minimis threshold of US$800 can still enter the USA duty free. Canada is so far not taxing music/media-related goods in their retaliatory tariffs, either. So while the long term future of trade between the two counties remains uncertain in some lights, for now we can just keep on as we were. Of course all other international operations continue as usual and should things change with the US and the de minimis is lowered or eliminated we will find a way to adjust as seamlessly as possible, be it via low-value declarations (long-since the norm when shipping to Europe) or any other necessary measures to ensure the continued free flow of noise worldwide.
