In 2018 I discovered Spectral Moon first rehearsal tape by deeply looking into the most obscure tapes that were available through my contacts in South America. The 5 songs on that tape immediately appeared to me as some of the most refreshing and powerful Black Metal of the decade, along the recently formed Moenen Of Xezbeth. I lost no time to try and sign them on Zombi Danz, and we re-released that rehearsal tape in a very old school way through my label. Already back then, the band was heavily working on an album which took 4 years + to achieved. And here it is at last, the best and most outstanding Black Metal album of this decade. Nothing comes even close in terms of obscurity and devotion than this first Spectral Moon album. An aboslute masterpiece of Black Doom Metal and pretty much the album Samael could have recorded in 1995 if they had kept on worshipping him.
