Altar Boa formed in 2007 and has remained essentially reclusive since their inception. Having only performed a hand full of times they’ve maintained a hidden and persistent hand in the mire of underground noise, metal and electronic scenes through out the last 15 years. As difficult as it’s been to nail down this artist and find any committed recordings, they did surface on a split with Disleksick on Morbidly Hip last summer and silently released (this) EP in the fall of 2019. 14 minutes of hollowed out space for the forlorn & disassociated. Cackles of abandoned electronics and narcotic arpeggiations emerge through hisses of grey mist and husks of forgotten purpose.
