Label Description: KK Null (Kazuyuki Kishino) began in the early ’80s with guitar improv in Tokyo, leading to the legendary HC/sludge trio Zeni Geva and several classic releases on Alternative Tentacles. Over time, Null transitioned from guitar to electronics, developing the fabled “nullsonic” approach, characterized by an exaggerated triple-wide stereo field and front-of-speaker crispness. Kishino’s recordings are full of nuance, intention, and depth.
Personally speaking, KK Null was vital to my early development in noise as a rare point of double commonality and I’m proud to release this.
