Pterygium is the project of Australian artist Henry Gillett, who’s Digging A Ditch Of Mercy perfectly reconciles the hyper-minimal ambience of 90’s Zoviet France and Francisco Lopez, with the forbidding crackle of Tesco-influenced industrial and dark ambience. Highly textured and patient washes of sparse requiems, called to be played at the maximum for the fullest immersion.
