Living in the peripheries of industrial Brooklyn, SIMA seeks to conjure the frigid evenings and utter solitude of an urban wasteland. Utilizing vast tones to build tension, Side A of SIMA’s debut EP induces foreboding and anxiety. However, Side B shifts the mood, albeit slightly, into the form of an underground party proclaiming the end times.
