Genetically Challenged is the first recorded Spring Break full-length – the very first material will appear as a C10 coming out later this year on Fusty Cunt. Spring Break is Jordan Reyes, and Genetically Challenged sees Reyes exploring the incel subculture across seven varied tracks, most of which falls under the power electronics umbrella, though two tracks veer towards incantational soundscapes. The result of over a year’s research, Genetically Challenged includes primary source material as well as personal interpretation to consider this novel contemporary antagonist – one whose destructive, but historically innocuous, rhetoric has crept forth from the computer screen, and transformed into real-life violence across North American streets.
