“This tape is about my friend, Gilbert Cruz who died of a fentanyl overdose. I lost a life long relationship when he passed and it’s selfish of me to mourn my loss and ignore everybody else’s. So many of my friends die from heroin and I don’t know what to do about it. I know more of my friends will die from it and it’s really hard to accept that. Sometimes I want to die to escape the grief and angst, but I’m alive.”
