Both projects work in the realm of tape noise and while Dressing’s approach is more hands on tape manipulations on the recorded sounds and surroundings, it sounds that Zalhietzli operates on circuit level, fusing the sound source and breaking the sonics with constant electronic shocks. They both have mastered their approach for textural broken sound and compliment each other perfectly on this split tape.
