Miguel A. García (aka Xedh) is a sound artist from the Basque country, working mainly in the field of electro-acoustic composition and improvisation. He usally uses sounds taken from electronic devices residues, often interrelated with field recordings or acoustic instruments, in the search of an intimate, intense and immersive experience. His background comprises fine arts and audiovisual technology, questioning the borders between different genres like electro-acoustic academic music, noise music, extreme metal, dark ambient and the so called outsider music.
‘Les Couronnes De L’Aube’ is a collaboration with Yann Hagimont (Darvulia, Malkhebre, Ecce Homo, Habsyll, Cober Ord), and is a solemn ambient exploration of voice, guitar and electronics, recorded in a deserted factory in Bilbao, composed and mixed between 2014 and 2020.
