Striations ‘Collection I’ is a gathering of out of print cassette tapes. Tracks from Trauma Code released by Gutterbloat and K.P. from Oxen. Striations delivers his highly obsessive narrative of burning clusters of sound, sublime feedback passages, junk-noise acoustics and tape-manipulation to a highly focused density. Every sound element is meticulously mapped with his unique, unfettered abandon. Seventy nine minutes of ferocious tensions, a definitive foundation in sound from an artist obliterating any thought of compromise in his work. Final mastering for CD by Jonathan Borges.
